The Creative Ox was set up to bring you the best bold, fun, eco-friendly artwork for your home at an affordable price, whilst being as kind as possible to the planet.

We meticulously research every aspect at every stage- from the paper we print on to the clear compostable wallets we package our prints in. All our prints tick the following boxes:

Eco-friendly prints- Our digital prints are printed on 100% post consumer recycled paper and are certified by the FSC (Forest Stewardship Council)- see our Instagram 'Materials' post for more about this. All are printed with 100% renewable energy by printers who are committed to zero waste to landfill. In addition, we donate at least £1 from every A3 & A4 print sold to help plant trees in a UK grove- meaning that buying a print will help us to create something positive for the generations to come.

All greeting cards are printed on stock made from 100% post consumer waste (no virgin paper) and come with a 100% recycled, vegan-friendly envelope.

No plastic packaging- Cutting out plastic shouldn't mean cutting out quality. All our packaging is sourced here in the UK- A3 and A4 prints are carefully packaged in clear compostable wallets made from corn-starch (yes, it boggles our mind too!) and then posted in a recyclable envelope. Bigger prints are rolled and delivered in sturdy, plastic-free, 100% recyclable tubes. Over five million tonnes of plastic is used every year in the UK, nearly half of which is packaging- let's not add to that.

Jolly affordable- After reading the above, you might be forgiven for thinking that all this can't come cheap. Not so. OK, so maybe all this makes our profit margins that little bit smaller but we want to be a leading example. We're here to prove that there really is an affordable, fair and eco-friendly way to brighten up your day.
